We invite your school to participate in the annual Orlando Scholastic Chess League Championship. You may register one or more teams to compete in a two- match tournament held at the Orlando Chess & Games Center. Every participant will receive a free chess t-shirt. Trophies will be awarded to the top six teams.

Your team will play two matches on the following Saturdays:  April 23rd and May 7^th. The match starts at 10am and ends by 4pm. Each team consists of 4 players plus 2 alternates (optional). The championship will be limited to 16 teams.  Schools may send more than one team.  There is NO elimination. Entries will be accepted up to April 1 at 9pm.

 ^{Each match consists of 5 games in which each team of 4 players plays against another team in a 25 minute game (total game time is 50 minutes). Each team may have two alternates in addition to four team members. Your best player would play on board #1, your 2nd best player plays on board #2 and so forth. Players must play on the same board each game.  Alternates may play on any board assigned by the coach or parent representative. Each team is required to have a school coach or parent organizer.}
