Toby Boas Wins October OCG OPEN

The October OCG OPEN was held on Saturday October 27. Twelve players competed in the four-round USCF rated event. Congratulations to Toby Boas (1870) who finished with a perfect score of four points, including an upset over Andrew Cunanan (2171) in round three, to win first place overall.
While Toby methodically defeated four opponents to win first, the race for second place seemed unclear. In the end, four players finished with a score of 2.5 points and tied for second/third place. They were: Andrew Cunanan, Jonathan Chin (1733), Samuel Sevian (1450) and Grant Luckey (1343).
Kaitlyn Rader (1112) captured the U1200 prize with a score of .5, with only two players U1200.
