Wilmer Chavira and Catherine Zelner Win December OCG OPEN

The December OCG OPEN was held this past Saturday, December 17th. 18 players competed in the 4-round USCF-rated event. USCF Master Wilmer Chavira (2222) and Catherine Zelner (1570) tied for first place honors with 3.5 points each.
Finishing in third place was Renato Dacany (1628) with three points. With 2.5 points, Paul Leggett (1797) and Steven Vigil (1610) shared the U-1800 prize after their 4th round draw. Kaitlyn Rader (1129) won the U-1600 prize, finishing also with 2.5 points.
Unrated player, Eric Knackstedt, who also finished with 2.5, won the U-1400 prize. Sarah Errafay (1192) finished with 2 points to win the U-1200 prize. Here are the final standings.
