The June OCG Open was held this past Saturday, June 26th. Twenty- three players competed in the 4 round, USCF-rated, one-day event. Three players ended up with 3.5 points, placing them all in a tie for first place and Earning them $83.33 each. Congratulations to Chuck Hall (2017), Gregory Zelner (1715) and Joshua Zelner (1603) for sharing first place.  

Eight year old, Lucas Van Beuzekom (1508) put forth another impressive performance to capture the best U-1800 prize. Lucas finished with 3 points, losing only to co-winner Greg Zelner.

Best U-1600 was won by Matt Helfst (1359).

Monty Godfrey (1347) and David Hwang (1369) tied for best U-1400 with a score of 2.5 points.

Best U-1200 was shared by John Ciccone (1002) and Michael Gonzalez (954) with a score of 2 points.

Gabrielo Banks on the unrated prize in his first tournament with one point.

The next OCG Open will be held on Saturday July 17th.
